On Wednesday evening, over 70 people gathered at Hall Fletcher Elementary School to watch the work-in progress presentation. Vice Mayor Marc Hunt began the evening’s presentation by welcoming everyone and thanking them for their continued input throughout the week.

Lee Einsweiler then began the evening’s formal presentation, which included Joel Mann, the project’s transportation expert. The presentation included a recap of the charrette process and incorporated ideas and concepts on the following: transportation and parking, connectivity, maintaining a balance between the old and new, flood mitigation and preserving greenspaces.

Lee concluded the presentation by reminding attendees that the work presented was a draft and that they must continue to offer input on the concepts and ideas. Everyone was encouraged to continue to send comments and to follow the project on-line.

After the presentation, meeting attendees were asked to view and comment on draft material that was posted around the room. Members from the consultant team and city staff were on hand to answer questions. Below are some photos from the event.
