Roger Montelongo

Urban Designer

Roger brings an interdisciplinary perspective through his formal education in urban design and city planning in both an American and British context.  He supports Code Studio in the development of visually informative graphics that effectively communicate plans and codes. Roger’s technical and visual skill set provides strong background analysis and a diagrammatic response that effectively communicate changes to the urban form.

Roger’s data driven mindset sparks his interest in placemaking through the combination of the built environment and social fabric and brings a holistic approach to the design process. His studies and work experience in London have helped him gain a better understanding of best practices for more livable and walkable communities in an international level.

Roger has a Master of Science in Urban Design and City Planning (Merit) from the Bartlett School of Planning at University College London (UCL). He received a Bachelor of Science in Geography: Urban and Regional Planning (Magna Cum Laude), and two certificates in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Location Analysis from Texas State University.
